Welcome to the Sheriff’s Protective Association’s website.
This association has served the social, welfare, and educational needs of its members since 1959. We were originally affiliated with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. In July 1970, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department and the Las Vegas Police Department consolidated into the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Our eligible membership now includes all full-time employees of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
This website was commissioned by the Board of Directors to provide information and online services to our members and our retirees.
If you are an employee of Metro, you can sign up immediately to become a member of the SPA by filling out the form that is linked on this page. Specific information on dates and locations of events are only available for members who register their email address and create a member password. The members only section also allows you to update personal information, beneficiaries, and contact informaion in our records. You may also find information for scholarship applications, sponsorship requests and other benefits made available online to SPA members. Your password is encrypted and known only to you. Your email will only be used for official SPA communication.
