About the Association

Welcome to the Sheriff's Protective Association's website.

This association has served the social, welfare, and educational needs of its members since 1959. We were originally affiliated with the Clark County Sheriff's Department. In July 1970, the Clark County Sheriff's Department and the Las Vegas Police Department consolidated into the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Our eligible membership now includes all full-time employees of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
